Would you like to know
more about me?

I was born and raised in Andria but was adopted by Bari and its inhabitants at the age of 14.
For as long as I can remember, I have always tried to draw something without ever being satisfied with it.

So, in order to solve the problem, I enrolled in art school. Right from the start, it was clear to me that my hand and my head needed rigid patterns and strict rules to follow. I graduated in industrial design and, after six years (and a few sleepless nights), I graduated in architecture.

I had finally acquired all the sacred dictates I wished to learn.

Harmony, balance, symmetry

... rigid schemes in which to move were literally in my hands. But I soon realised that schemes and rules alone are not enough to represent any reality: sometimes rules have to be broken.

So I decided to take a step back: I continued drawing according to my beloved rules occasionally breaking them.

This way, my horizon broadened.

I have found in communication my habitat. It allows me to experiment, change language to suit the purpose, be rigid when needed but also let go when I want to.

About image collage_ Clelia Rella

I can confidently say that the way I work reflects, to a large extent, my personality.

I consider myself a practical, sensitive and determined woman. I like to set myself small goals so that I always have the opportunity to create new ones. This way I can improve

one step at a time, without limits.

About image collage_ Clelia Rella

I love to observe my surroundings, take inspiration from what I know and

put a bit of myself into the mix.

If from architecture I have made the rules of composition my own, from figurative art I borrow the use of colour and from product design the materiality.

About image collage_ Clelia Rella

Outside of work, my curiosity drives me

to look towards other perspectives.

I love travelling, discovering new cultures, tasting tastes I do not know and singing at the top of my lungs in a language I do not belong to (possibly without anyone hearing me).

About image collage_ Clelia Rella

In moments of doubt, I look towards creative, enterprising and strong-minded personalities from whom I can

steal a bit of courage from time to time.

If I had to imagine myself 10 years from now, I would definitely want to see a woman still full of

determination and passion,

professionally fulfilled, in a stimulating and dynamic working environment.

I would like to live in a place I love and, if I don't ask for much, with a strip of sea in which I can soak up the troubles from time to time.
